Hadieha

Hadieha is the Mystic of Darkness, born alongside his sibling Havimael from Alifia's sadness when Toriatik's cruelty toward his creations was at its peak. Focused on the creation of his throne world Hadie, he secretly created the Hadien — a race of rapidly evolving creatures — in defiance of Toriatik's wishes. When Toriatik discovered it, war broke out among the Mystics.
When Alifia blessed a Hav named Kona Ryu with the Nesur, and Kona's lover Liu Dero began to show signs of divine ascension, Hadieha followed the trail back to Alifia. He abducted and tortured Alifia, executed Liu (or believed he did), and told Kona his plan to use the child she was carrying as a vessel that could overthrow Toriatik. Kona escaped to Eitoria with Havimael's help. During the final battle with Toriatik, Hadieha betrayed Havimael and used all his remaining power to seal every Mystic — himself included — inside Eitoria. He retained a substantial fraction of his power and was put into a deep sleep.
He woke up on Eitoria in a forest, took the alias Vamfri Laikanes, adopted an injured harpy girl named Vogel, and set out to find Kona and the child. He spent the next decades hunting the Black Devil's Remains, joined the Botan Empire military, rose to general, and used the empire as a base from which to look for a worthy vessel. He encountered Arkem Lyons — Kona's son, unknown to himself — found him impressive but not yet ready, enchanted the Black Devil's Spine with a tracking spell, and let him walk away. He later infected Kieu Aeon with Maleidic energy and forced Arkem to kill her.
When Arkem released his full power in the resulting fight, Vamfri saw his ethereal black wings — identical to Liu's — and finally recognized the vessel he had been hunting for centuries. He fled with Karu, realizing he had waited too long and would need to find a way to restore his own power before he could safely engage Arkem again. He never got the chance. After learning he had been lied to about Aurore's survival and torturing Karu for years for her role in it, he was eventually killed by Karu and Julian Regulus on Hav'En.
His consciousness persisted in Karu's head as a voice that grew louder with time, eventually leading her — after her death in Toriatik's tsunamis — to become the Maleidic Queen. After Karu was killed in turn by Goldeye, both of their consciousnesses were folded into the apex predator-stratum of the Maleidic Realm alongside other powerful Malei-users like Teishi Suraibu.
It is his voice, among others, that Idris Hadi hears when he is told he is the chosen one and that consciousness can be transferred between bodies. The vessel goal that drives the rest of Idris' career is, in fact, Hadieha's original vessel goal — passed silently from one would-be conqueror to another, across millennia and species, by a voice Idris never thinks to question.
