Apollo Regulus is a Hav man and Archfather of the Regulus Sanguarchate of Avinadal — one of the wealthiest and most publicly visible figures in the empire's inner circle. He is immediately striking: long pink hair, pale blue eyes, a low androgynous voice, and the kind of composed confidence that makes rooms reorganize themselves around him. The Regulus family has long been known for wealth, beauty, and an approach to lineage that most other cultures find unconventional; Apollo embodies all three without apparent effort.
He first appeared in Aries' life in 181 AF on the battlefield of the 20th Annual War Games, fighting on the Regulus Kingdom team. He had entered the Games for one purpose: to extract his sister Nyx, who had been imprisoned in the Federation's HECRC, by exploiting the cross-team transfer protocol. The plan went sideways when a Federation ambush escalated into a fatal confrontation. When one of the ambushers tore off Nyx's wings, Apollo killed three Federation participants and would have triggered a Regulus-Federation war if Aries had not stepped onto the public broadcast feed and claimed solo credit for every kill.
Apollo and the surviving combatants — Aries, Nyx, Alexandria Zeru — were taken into Napolian custody under Mickail Sidson's protection. The Regulus family, already in the process of cutting ties with Hadi Enterprises over the revelations emerging from the HECRC reactor incident, formalized the break shortly afterward.
