Throne of Avinadal

Originally named Hadi Station, the Throne of Avinadal is a moon-class space station orbiting Ekrien. It was originally owned by its creator, the scientist Idris Hadi, as his home and research facility. Many of his artificial life forms inhabited the station with him. The events of Hadi's death caused heavy damage to the station, resulting in many chambers being sealed off and isolated. A year after Hadi's death, the Empire of Avinadal reclaimed the station.

When the Throne was first taken by Avinadal, a band of slavers had been using it as a base of operations, making use of the amenities already existing for Hadi's artificial life forms to provide housing for a vast collection of slaves. When Avinadal acquired the Throne, some of the former slaves left to join their loved ones at their homes, but the majority of the newly liberated slaves stayed on the station, encouraging their loved ones to join them on the station and help build the new nation rather than continue dealing with the Galactic Senate.

The Throne currently houses about a million citizens in available inhabitable areas. Much of the local focus is on rebuilding the station and expanding the living areas. Once the station is fully repaired, it is expected to have enough room to home an estimated 100+ billion citizens.
